Seth Eckard

Seth has been with the Town of Sawmills since 2011. Seth earned both his B.S. in Political Science and Masters in Public Administration from Appalachian State University. Prior to working for the Town of Sawmills Seth completed summer internships with the City of Lenoir, Town of Valdese and Town of North Wilkesboro.
The Town Administrator serves as the chief executive officer of the Town, overseeing its day-to-day operations, managing all departments; reports directly to the Town Council; prepares policy recommendations for consideration by the Council; and ensures that all Town operations respond to the needs of citizens as effectively as possible.

Karen has been with the Town of Sawmills since 2008.
The Finance Officer is responsible for performing cost control activities, monitoring revenues and expenditures, overseeing investment of town funds and preparing financial reports. The finance officer monitors intergovernmental actions affecting the Town.

Kim has been with the Town of Sawmills since 2006.
The Office Manager is responsible for a well-organized and smooth running office. The go to person for answers and direction. Major duties of the Officer Manager include human resources, payroll and assisting the Finance Officer.
Susan Nagle

Susan has been with the Town of Sawmills since 2006.
The Town Clerk attends and keeps an accurate record of all meetings of the Town Council; in effect, authoring the chronological and historical record of the operation of the Town. The Town Clerk also provides support to the Town Administrator, Town Council and other departments of your local town government.

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of routine to difficult office support work which may include receptionist duties, typing, word processing, recordkeeping and filing, receiving utility payments; and performs related work as assigned.
